Sammy: Hello
Seba: Hello young Sammy
Seba You have come here for help I assume
Sammy: no no I just wanted some cheese…
Sammy: OF COURSE I NEED HELP!
Seba : alright no need to have a hedgehog
Sammy: n+3-5n+12….. stumped right!
Seba : Ahh that’s quite tricky. ..
Sammy: I knew I could could get you … im smarter haha I’m smarter
Seba Now No interrupting girl
Sammy: The answer is -6n+15
Seba: ahh mistakes .. your so young
Sammy: well smarty pants whats the answer?
Seba: -4n+15
Sammy: no way , Invalid
Seba: Yes but you see when you have a negative and a positive it makes zero
Sammy: Oh I see I added the N as a negative
Sammy: Well hot shot Figure out this one 2+4(3n+8)
Sammy: It’s 12n+10
Seba: Ahh No young child …. It’s 12n+34
Sammy: But I multi then add it’s all a blur now
Seba: Yes you started out right 4 times 3n .. but then you added the 2 to the 8 you must mutiply the 4 to the 8 then you have 2+12n+32 add the 2 to the 32 and you got it!
Sammy: Well… You know I can still eat more hot dogs then you , and I can run faster!
Seba I shall not participate in your childlike games Good bye
Seba: Before I leave I’m still smarter then you!

Quotative Division

It was math class for 8-73.

This class they were learning how to divide integers.

Negative five goes into negative one the question read.

A young student named Shaneille was confused.

She didn't understand how this question worked.

Luckily Shaneille was sitting beside Simran who explained to her,

that it means how many groups of negative one's are in negative five.

Shaneille instantly answered the question, thanks to Simran of coarse!

Partitive Division

Partitive division can be tricky.

When you divide by two negatives it can be icky.

It's like dealing cards.

So everyone can get a even amount and nothing will be hard.

Chapter 2
( Fresh Prince of Belair)
Will: Hey G!
Geffery: Yes master Will.
Will: Yo, I think my teacher marked something wrong that should have been right on my test, can you check.
Geffery: Let's see master Will.
Will: The question was n+3-5n+12 and I put -6n+15 for my answer, how is this wrong?
Geffery: Well master will you went wrong when you did not added the the positive and negative integers right.
Will: So you're saying I'm wrong?
Geffery: Yes master Will you are wrong.
Will: You're wak, I'm never wrong!
Geffery: Okay master Will I will explain it again. You forgot the n was a positive and not a negative.
Will: Which means....
Geffery: Which means you were suppose to, huh.
Will: See G you don't know.
Geffery: I do know, I was thinking of how I should explain it, so you could understand.
Will: Sure you were.
Geffery:
When you have a negative and a positive it makes zero.
Will:
Oh, so my answer was suppose to be -4+15.
Geffery: Yes master Will.
Will: Thanks G!..... But I have another question.
Geffery: Okay master Will I guess I will help you.
Will: The question was 2+4(3n+8), and I put 12n+10 for my answer.
Geffery: Oh dear.
Will: What do you mean by oh dear.
Geffery: It means you made dumb mistakes.
Will: Do tell.
Geffery: Well you got 12n right, but 10 is wrong. You still had to multiply 4 by 8. After that you then had to add the 2.
Will: Oh, so my answer should have been 12n+34.
Geffery: Yes master Will.
Will: Again thanks G!

By the way I didn't spell Jeffery wrong it's just because he calls him G in the show, and his name is Geffery. So yeah :)

Chapter 3 One Step Equation Solving

Here are the four questions I choose:

    Chapter 2 :

Okay this movie is going to be about two girls discussing about the two "impossible" questions, and a girl, name Ms. Suzan Quenard, talks about the two "impossible (and that NO ONE could answer EXCEPT Suzan!)" questions. So yeah ... enjoy! ;)

Red girl: Good morning my fellow Canadians!

This is the SPS Channel, today we are going to discuss about how a teacher got the wrong answer, with Ms. Suzan Quenard.

Dark Blue girl: Good morning!

Red girl: So What was the problem of the question?

Dark Blue Girl: The problem is that the question,

n+3-5n+12 is very tricky to answer

Red Girl: The audience think that the answer is -6n+15.

Is this answer right or wrong? And why ?

Dark Blue Girl: Well first the right answer is 4n+15

Red girl: how did you get that answer?

Dark Blue girl: well first I rearrange them like

numbers and letters putting in a basket,

so it'll be organize. So I put n-5n on one side and 3+12 on the other side,

so n-5n is 4n and 3 + plus is 15 , soo.... the answer is 4n+15.

Red girl: Can you tell me how the other people got -6n+15?

Dark Blur girl: Sure. Some people might of added n+5n instead of n+ -5n.

Red girl: Oohhh... I get it! Well thats it for today folks, see you next time at SPS Channel.

part one ... "SPS CHANNEL" (short)

part two movie:
"SPS CHANNEL part 2" (short)

Red Girl: Good morning again folks .. And welcome back! Today we are going to discuss about a new math question. with Ms. Suzan Quenard.

Dark Blue girl: Good morning!

Red Girl: So ... About that question 2 + 4 (3n+ 8 ) , can you tell us the answer and how you got the answer?

Dark Blue girl: Well sure! Some people got 12n + 10, but its not the right answer , because they must of skipped one step, like they added 2 + 8 , when your not suppose to .

Red Girl: Then how are you suppose to do it.

Dark Blue girl: First you times 4 to 3n and that makes 12n. . . then you times 4 and 8 together... and that makes 32 , then you add 2 and 32 together and that makes 34 ... so the answer would be 12n + 34.

Red Girl: Ohh so the brackets means multiplying ?

Dark Blue girl: yup

Red girl: Ohh ... well that makes sense ... alot! Well that is it for today ... see you next time on SPS Channel.

Dark Blue girl: Bye everyone!

Yesterday, we studied about Algebraic Equation. Mr H thought us what the niblets does really "N" means. Here are some examples about what my class and i have studied yesterday.

(eg . n+6) you can also write it in phrase or in sentence.
(eg. a number plus six or a volume plus six) you can also add the equal sign.

(eg. n+6 = 14) a number plus six equals fourteen or a number and six is fourteen.

In algebraic expression, there is only one answer.
N means a variable or a number.
The language of mathematics is similar to any other language, complete with nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, phrases, sentences, and etc.

Here's another example of an Algebraic Expression.

3x (now, everytime a number is beside a variable, you multiply them. Its like two brackets kissing)

3x three multiplied by a number
7c seven multiplied by a certain amount

You can also try this !

x + 75 < 245 or a number and 75 is less than 245. Its easy.
Thank you for reading my post.

Combining like terms and
the Distributive Property

Roger: Hello Jack,
Whatcha doing

Whats the Question
No the Answer is not -6n+15 it is -4n+15
I will show you how to get the answer now
First, You have to regroup the variables. Which are n and -5n

Second you have to rewrite the question so it reads n-5n+3+12
Third you put buckets under the 2 terms
Fourth you now answer what is in the buckets, which is n-5n=-4n
next it is +3+12=+15

Now you rewrite the question again and it should say this: -4n+15

Jake: Hey Roger
I'm just working on my math homework .Its Algebra and its hard.
I need help. Do you know how to answer this question Roger.
The question is n+3-5n+12
I think the answer is -6n+15
How did you get that.

Thanks Roger now I get It

Second Video
-------------------

Hello Jake,
Whatcha doing
Whats the Question
No the Answer is not
12n + 10. It is 12n+32
I will show you how to get the answer now
First, you have to multiply 4 by 3n. Which equals 12n
Second You need to multiply 4 by +8. Which equals +32

Finally you put both together and it should say 12n+32

Hey Roger
I'm just working on my math homework .
Its The Distributive Property and its hard
I need help. Do you know how to answer this question Roger.
The question is 2 + 4(3n+8)
I think the answer is 12n + 10
How did you get that.
Thanks Roger now I get It

Chapter 3

One step Equation Solving

Additive:

To do a additive equation you have to know the steps or (rules).
First you write out your question, the question I choose was n-3+5=10
Second you have to clean up the junk in the question.

To clean the junk up you put these |______| under the the two constants -3 and +5.
After you have done that it should say n+2=10.
The third step is adding the opposite, and in this case the opposite of +2 is -2.
Whatever you do to the front you have to do to the back(answer), make balance.
Fourth is you cancel out the zero pairs, which leaves you with n= on you left and 10-2 on your right.
Now you have to answer 10-2=8. N = 8

I will now show you how to Verify:
First you rewrite the question: n-3+5=10 or n+2=10
Second you substitute the 8 for n.
Then it should say: 8+2=10 or 8-3+5=10

The final step is 10=10

Subtractive

To do a subtractive equation you have to know the steps or (rules).
First you write out your question, the question I chose was n-(-5)=17Second you have to clean up the junk in the question.
To clean the junk up you change the - signs both to + signs

After you have done that it should say n+5=17 or n+(+5)=17.
The third step is adding the opposite, and in this case the opposite of +5 is -5.
Whatever you do to the front you have to do to the back(answer), make balance.

Fourth is you cancel out the zero pairs, which leaves you with n= on you left and 17-5 on your right.
Now you have to answer 17-5=12. N = 12

I will now show you how to Verify:
First you rewrite the question: n-(-5)=17 or n+5=17
Second you substitute the 12 for n.

Then it should say:12-(-5)=17 or 12+5=17
The final step is 17=17

Multiplicative

To do a multiplicative equation you have to know the steps or (rules).
First you write out your question, the question I chose was 12n=180

Second you have to divide 12n by 12. Which gives you n.

Whatever you do to the front you have to do to the back(answer), make balance. Now you have to answer 180 divided by 12. Which leaves you with n= on you left and 15 on your right. N=15

I will now show you how to Verify:
First you rewrite the question: 12n=180

Second you substitute the 15 for n. It should look like this 12(15)=180

The final step is 180=180

Divisive

To do a divisive equation you have to know the steps or (rules).
First you write out your question, the question I chose was n divide 6 =6

Second you have to multiply 6n by 6. Which gives you n.

Whatever you do to the front you have to do to the back(answer), make balance.

Now you have to answer 6 multiplied by 6. Which leaves you with n= on you left and 36 on your right. N=15

I will now show you how to Verify:
First you rewrite the question: 12n=180
Second you substitute the 15 for n. It should look like this 12(15)=180

The final step is 180=180
