  • Put data into ascending order

  • add all the numbers together
  • divide by how many numbers there are
e.g.



33/5=6.6

Median




put data into ascending order

find the middle number

if there are two middle numbers add them up and divide by two


e.g.









Mode

  • put data into ascending order

  • most common number
  • you can have more than one mode

  • you can have no mode
e.g.








Range





put data into ascending order

  • largest number minus the smallest number

e.g.

good job kara! but your links for mean, median, and range says "cannot display webpage." maybe you should find different sites or ask mr.h about it. :) but anyways, good job!

and by the way, under the mean picture, it says 33/5=6.6, but in your picture it says that the answer is 4.3 repeated, just wondering what that was for. :P
