Pay it Forward
Pay it Forward
We watched the movie Pay it Forward at school and were asked to do one act of kindness for either a person we know, or a stranger. The goal was to make a difference in someone's life.
I decided to help out my mom by doing the laundry for her. I decided to do it on January 2, 2009. I never knew so much work went into washing clothes. First I had to sort everything and figure out how to work the machine. Next I had to make sure the dryer was on the right setting, so the clothes wouldn't shrink. Then I folded the clothes. Actually, it's not that hard once you get the hang of it.
It felt good to know that I had helped my mom, and now I always could! My mom was veryhappy that she could rest. She's always working so hard! Then I asked to to please pay it forward. She said she would. She's thinking about helping out one of her classmates(final year at university).
So now I must answer this question. Can one person make a difference? My answer is, yes! One person can make a difference. They don't even need to do something big. Every little thing helps. It also really good to help out. So remember to please take a moment to pay it forward!
