Gerico's Measure of Central Tendency
Mean-the sum of all data divided into the number of data.
Example:
2,4,5,6,7,8,=32
32 divided by 6=mean:5
Median-the middle number
-if you have 2 middle number find the average
Example:
4,8,2,9,6=2 is the middle number
Mode-most common number
6,4,1,3,2,9,8,8=8 is the mode
8-is the most common number
Range-largest data minus smallest data
Example:6,8,4,9,2,7
2 is the smallest
9-is the biggest
So,9-2 =7 is the range
