Today in class, Mr. Harbeck had to go somewhere, so he assigned Pg. 41-42 in our yellow booklets for homework. Since he wasen't in the classroom for much of the period, we got to work on those two pages in class.

On Page 41, Section A, we have to use a number line.

On Page 42, Section B, Mr. Harbeck divided the questions into three parts.

For Questions 1-10 we need to use the money method.

For Questions 11-15 we need to use the number line method.

For Questions 16-24 you could use a method of your choice.

Also on Page 42, in Section C, Mr. Harbeck divided the questions into two parts.

For Questions 1-10 we need to use the algebra tiles method.
For Questions 11-75 you could use a method of your choice.

Also, Mr. Harbeck said that if you don't want to use squares, you could use circles. Just as long as that the positive ones are coloured in, an the negative ones are blank.

Yes, these two pages are due TOMORROW, so get it done!
For the next scribe, I choose Elmane Amado.
Well thanks for checking out my scribe, and please don't forget to leave a comment :)

Good job Melanie, everything was easy to understand. The font sizes were huge so I could see everything and the pictures were great. The colours stand out really good. If I was away I would really understand what happend in class. Good job again!
