PYTHAGOREAN THEOREM

The Pythagorean Theorem is Pythagoras' most famous mathematical contribution. According to legend, Pythagoras was so happy when he discovered the theorem that he offered a sacrifice of oxen. The later discovery that the square root of 2 is irrational and therefore, cannot be expressed as a ratio of two integers, greatly troubled Pythagoras and his followers. They were devout in their belief that any two lengths were integral multiples of some unit length. Many attempts were made to suppress the knowledge that the square root of 2 is irrational. It is even said that the man who divulged the secret was drowned at sea.

What is a Pythagorean Theorem?
The Pythagorean Theorem is the sum of the areas of the two squares on the legs (a and b) equals the area of the square on the hypotenuse (c).


The legs are the two sides that makes the right angle.
The hypotenuse is the longest side of a right triangle.
RAT stands for Right Angle Triangle.
Pythagoras is greek.


The Thereom is A squared plus B squared equals C squared.
I think Mr Harbeck taught us the Pythagorean Thereom because we might use this in real life like architecture, building houses and other buildings. You can also be a teacher.

There are three important sides of a triangle.
A triangle is a geometric figure consisting of three points or vertices which are connected with straight line segments called sides. When one of the angles of a triangle is a right angle, we call that a right triangle, as shown in this figure:

What is a relationship?
the relationship between the three sides of a right triangle (that is, between a, b, and c in the previous figure), let's look at an example of a relationship. In this example we will be calculating the perimeter or distance around the following rectangle:The perimeter or which you can call "P", you need to add the lengths of the four sides or a + b + a + b. It can also be expressed like this (p = 2a + 2b).

MEASURES OF CENTRAL TENDENCY

Here is an example of a work that I did in class

What are the range of the times?
What are the mean and median times?
Identify any possible outliers. Should the outlier(s) be removed from the data set?
Explain why or why not.














The Outlier would be 40.4 because its the biggest number out of all the numbers.


PROBABILITY

-She can stay with a friend or in a hotel

For my homework, I have been helping my family and people I dont even know. I helped my mom take care of my sister. While I was joining my sister watch barney, my mom takes the laundry and clean the kitchen. Then, my mom switch places. I do the laundry and wash the dishes. While she joins my sister watch barney.

The next day after doing the laundry and cleaned the kitchen, I shoveled my front and backyard. I also shoveled my sidewalk and my neighbour's sidewalk.

After I shoveled the snow outside, I cooked some steak for my family.

One person can make a big difference. Helping others will encourage them to pay it forward to more and more people.

When using the rule its not
all that though, all you need to do is
to know your job. When there is a
even amount of negative integers it equals
positive as you can see it while when there is
an odd amount of negatives it equals negative, silly!
So use the rule when it comes to tests and then
you'll see who's the best!

One day when I was walking down the hall, I heard my friends talking about Integers. I didn't want to ask them what integer was, so i researched in the library computer. Next day, when I walked in Mr. Harbeck's class, it was a coinsidence because he was talking about integers too. What i learned about integers is:

There is a positive and negative in integers. Here is an example how positive integer looks like :

Now, if you want to add them together, you have to use zero pair. Zero pair is an equation that involves two operation
s (positive and negative). Here's how it looks like when you add them using a zero pair.

Today in class, we pretend that a cup and a colorful cube inside it is a gumble machine. We had to guess what color would come out the most.

There are four blue cubes, three yellow cubes, two green cubes, and one red cube.

Theorotical Probability

red cube = 10 %
1 x 10 = 10 %


green cube = 20 %
2 x 10 = 20 %

yellow cube = 30 %
3 x 10 = 30 %

blue cube = 40 %
4 x 10 = 40 %

Favourable outcome / Total possible outcome




Experimental Probability

red cubes = 11/100
yellow cubes = 15/100

green cubes = 25/100
blue cubes = 49/100

favourable outcome / total possible outcome


( the more you get experiment the more closer you get to theorotical probability )
