Before winter break we've watched the movie "Pay it Forward".There's a task that we have to do and that is to do something that you can to pay it forward.In the movie there was a boy that believe that one person can make big difference.In this assignment we have to do any act of kindness.In order to solve that we have a couple of questions that we have to answer:



1.Who are you going help?
2.What are you going to do?
3.When are you going to do this?

During i the winter break i choose to... well i didn't really think of anything. So i had to find one. Well i found out my cousin was coming here to my house. So i figured i would babysit. Well it was the perfect time because my auntie was going to leave my cousin here because she had to go to work. But my mom had to go somewhere.Well i volunteered to do it and she said yes. So she left my little cousin here. It was pretty easy because he was already 5 and he was really fun , like we played video games and ate because my mom left some food for us to eat in case we get hungry. When my mom came back from the groceries there was a big mess, well me and my cousin cleaned it up when they came. When they came my parents took care of them because i had to go. it was really fun helping my aunt and babysitting my little cousin. I was really happy at the end.

The question was if ONE PERSON CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE to my the answer is yes, anyone can make a difference no matter who you are, so start helping anyone out there who needs help!

During the break i want to give my family a little help.For the first time i will woke up 5:30 even though i've sleep in 2:00 in the morning.I will do lots of things in our house to pay my parents forward for what they do to us every day.I've started in 5:40 and clean up the living room and the washroom. Then 8:00 i was the dishes and make our breakfast.Ive wash the dishes once again and take a bath because have a practice in 11:00 to 12:30.After my mom picked me in school i shovel snow and clean our car.I'm kind a tired and i started to sleep but i have to do somethingelse to help my parents but my mom said thank you.And i was like so sleepy and i fall down on the bed and started to rest.I enjoyed time doing those things.I feel great that i do a little help for my parents.Showing kindness can really make a Big difference.

During the break my aunt needed someone to take care of her kids because she to go to work and their babysitter can't come. I volunteered to look after them. I played with them, helped them with their needs, prepared their food and did a little house cleaning.

I enjoyed my time with them. I felt great with what I did.I can say doing things, even simple things, showing kindness and giving help could really make a difference.

In class we watched a movie about a kid who believed that he can make a diffrence, he thought of a plan that could change the world, his plan is to help people who needs help then those people need to help other people, you get the idea. That movie is entitled Pay it Forward. This movie is an inspiration for all of us and i wish all people would follow this example.

During the holidays we were ask to show kindness and to help people who needs help. This holiday I help many people but its hard to keep record every time so i choose the top 2

When I did this kind of stuff it kind of makes me feel good because you can make someone happy.
But the question is CAN ONE PERSON MAKE A DIFFERENCE? the truth is yes, any one can make a difference it doesnt have to be something big as long as you help someone you can make him or her happy

After watching this movie we were ask to do a random act of kindness and ask who ever we helped to Pay it Forward. What I did to pay it forward was I shovel snow and cleaned around the house(wash dishes, clean my room, etc).
I helped my parents do all that stuff after New Year.
I felt really good that I helped out my parents. I think my parents were happy that I helped so that they wouldn't do as much work around the house and get tired. I think one person can really make a difference just by do something to help another.

I was thingking about shoveling so two days before new year me and Andrew chose to go to my friends house. then me and Andrew started acting out some kindness by shoveling our friends yard. Like Andrew said it was cold that day but me and Andrew still chose to Pay it Forward.

I felt happy that I helped my friend shovel his yard. So you ask if one person can make a difference, my answer is yes! it doesn't have to big as long as you do something good and it makes the person happy and might even do it for someone else.

Before winter vacation we had watched a movie called "Pay it forward", which is about a boy who had a social studies assignment to change the world by helping people then telling them just to pay it forward. Our assignment was to do an act of kindness. Here are the questions.

This winter the task I chose is to put up most of the decorations inside and even outside my house. On the day before Christmas Eve my dad and me had went to buy new Christmas light for the front yard and some Christmas tree decorations. When we got home the first thing i did was to check if all the lights worked and put them up. By the time i had finished i started Putin up the tree and putting on the decorations.

Then from there I told my dad to pay it forward and he helped my neighbour put up some of there lights and then after new years my dad told me half of my street got " payed forward " and it had started with just 1 person. When he told me i got very surprised and I felt good inside.

The Question we had to answer was can one person make a difference?
I think 1 person can make a difference from the experience i had this winter made me thing alot about this question so yes one person can make a difference.

We watched a movie called "pay it forward" at school, its about a person making someones life.

We watched a movie about kindness at school and were asked to pay it forward too during winter break.

I decided to help my parents for this project. Originally, I was planning on doing something that involved our family in Philippines too, just to see if it would work but then I couldn't think of a possible way to help so at the last minute, I decided I'd just do whatever came up. In the end, I babysat my brothers and his friend while my mom did her assignment for a thing and shoveled the path at the front and the back so my dad can do whatever it was he needed to do. I also made a different path so it's easier to get to the other car. I shoveled on January 3 and babysat on January 4.

The older ones were easier to handle since all they did was play video games but my youngest brother is a big handful. He hates staying in one place and he kept trying to get to my mom's work. I pacified him by turning on the laptop and making him watch Farzzle's World. Apparently, the feeling of boredom was bigger than the feeling of pride and happiness because he wanted to watch random videos then moved on to 'The Magic Schoolbus'. I couldn't really object or he'd start crying. My parents didn't really react. They just did whatever it was they had to do in the first place. I didn't ask them to pay it forward though. My mom's too busy and I have a feeling my dad would pay it forward at the wrong time and at his expense more than usual. I'll ask my mom when her assignment's done though.

Can one person make a difference? Sure they can. Why shouldn't they? It's why 1+1 equals 2. If you don't think so then since it won't make a difference anyway, why not do an act of kindness? You'd understand.

I decided to help my dad shovelling, but we had to wait until the snow stop, I didn't know shovelling can be really hard, it was really cold and I got really tired. And I felt really happy because i helped my dad. I think helping someone and showing kindness can make a difference.

In class we watched the movie "Pay it forward", it is about a person that believes that just one person can make a difference. After watching the movie, we were asked to do a random act of kindness over the holiday's and ask them to "pay it forward". I decided that I was going to help out my church by serving food at a free lunch that they were having at the church. I did this on Sunday, January 4Th. I chose this act because I would be helping a lot of people at once, and because it would make me feel like a better person.

I served food to people from my church and also people not from my church. As I served the food people smiled at me and thanked me for it. It felt great to know that I was helping my church for a good cause. The person in charge of the event was grateful that I had volunteered for the event. When I asked her if she would "pay it forward", she gave me a funny look and asked what that was. I explained it to her, and she said that she would pay it forward and not forget.

The question is: Can one person make a difference? My answer to that would have to be YES, of course one person can make a difference, it doesn't have to big or life changing, as long as you do something good and it makes the person you did it for happy, and that's all that matters.

That was how I did my "Pay it Forward" over the holiday's.

In school we watched a movie called Pay it Forward. We were told to help a stranger or someone we know with a random act of kindness. The goal was to make some body's life a little easier. I decided to do snow shoveling because my aunt's house and mine had a lot of snow around it. I started on my Back Yard and moved to the front. It was cold so I wore gloves. After my house was done I went to my aunt's house. I did the front and some of the back ( The back was too much).
After I was done I felt happy knowing I did something and only got a thank you back. I learned that snow shoveling is hard if it is cold and gets tiring.

One person can make a difference with a little bit of effort. I got good feeling after helping my aunt.

I didn't manage to finish this early because my computer is being repaired so I will try to get this picture up as soon as possible. So over the winter break, I decided to help anyone in any way I can. But I am going to tell you about shoveling my neighbors driveway. I know a lot of people worked on this because they thought this would be the easiest way but I only worked on this because this was the picture I could take at the time. I did other things but I will try to pay it forward more. So I helped my neighbor by shoveling their sidewalk of snow and did this whenever I had the chance.

So when I was shoveling my neighbors sidewalk I felt like courage was welling up inside of me. I just felt like I had to do it and finish it for them. I didn't have the chance to talk to my neighbors because I shoveled around 10-11 pm. But I will try to get a chance and hope they will understand because they are elderly.

I definitely think one person can make a difference because when you help a person, courage wells up inside of them which makes their dreams in to reality. Also this person will start thinking or dreaming of ways to help others. Once you help this person they will respect you more and help you back maybe.

During class we watched a movie called pay it forward. a story of a young boy attempts to make the world a better place after his teacher gives him that chance. so our assingment was to act out some kindness.

The task i chose is shoveling. two days  before new year me and kareel chose to go to my friends house. then me and Kareel started acting out some kindness by shoveling our friends house yard.

It was cold that day but me and kareel choose to pay it forward. I beilive that making a difference is one of a good kind act and i believe that everyone can make a change.

For my homework, I have been helping my family and people I dont even know. I helped my mom take care of my sister. While I was joining my sister watch barney, my mom takes the laundry and clean the kitchen. Then, my mom switch places. I do the laundry and wash the dishes. While she joins my sister watch barney.

The next day after doing the laundry and cleaned the kitchen, I shoveled my front and backyard. I also shoveled my sidewalk and my neighbour's sidewalk.

After I shoveled the snow outside, I cooked some steak for my family.

One person can make a big difference. Helping others will encourage them to pay it forward to more and more people.

In class we watched a movie called Pay it Forward. In the movie one young boy helped so many people and made such a difference. So our assignment was to do an act of kindness. We had to answer these questions.

The task I choose was to help my dad shovel the snow. I going to be shoveling outside of my house. This task was harder then it seemed. I never knew how hard my parents had to work just to shovel the snow.










I felt happy that I helped my dad take a brake from shoveling the snow. When I asked my dad to Pay it Forward, he said that he will also do the neighbors side walk when we shovel the snow. So you ask if one person can make a difference, my answer is yes! Only one person can make a difference in so many ways! I learned that you don't have to do something big to help out, it's just the fact that you made someone happy!

On Friday, December the 19th, all the grade 8 classes went to Mr. Harbeck's room and watched a movie called, "Pay It Forward." The main message in that movie was that, just one person could make a difference. To help spread the word about "paying it forward," each student was assigned to do one act of kindness, during the winter break.

Paying It Forward

Since it is winter time and snow is blowing real hard and covers most of our surroundings, I have decided to help father clear our driveway/pathway of snow by shovelling it clear.

Last night gave us a fairly thick dose of snow and I woke up early to give my father a hand in clearing our driveway/back lane. Having a clear driveway would enable my father to park our car easier.

Although the snow is almost a foot deep and the temperature outside is biting cold, we were able to clear our driveway, pathway, back lane and even the sidewalk. I was very glad that I was able to help my father.

When our neighbours saw us shovelling, they also went outside and clear their pathways. They told us that, it is much easier to work if you have someone with you instead of doing it by yourself.

I believe that change is always within the realm of possibility and that one person, no matter how small he/she maybe in stature could ultimately make a difference.

A small dose of kindness will always go a long, long way in spreading goodwill among men. A little act of generosity would always produce bigger result in kindness, humility and fellowship.

Man by nature is kind and it would only take somebody extending his helping hands to have a quantum result. PAY IT FORWARD is not something that could only be found in utopian setting nor is it an enigma in our present world but it is a reality that is within every person, within his heart, within his soul.
