Today in class we :

We went over 3 of the questions from yesturdays math sheet

# 3 from the back page

P(E and 20)

cube has 6 sides spinner has 6 sides



6x6 =36


TPO= 36






FO/TPO =5/36 = 0.138 = 13.8 %

6 sides on the cube

8 sides on the spinner

6x8=48

TPO=48







FO/TPO= 4/48=1/12=0.08= 8.3%

FO/TPO= 2/5=O.4= 40%

Then after that we did textbook questions in our notebook about independent probability

TPO on their OWN!

We did question 6 together

P(blue then red)

Blue FO/TPO = 1/10

Red FO/TPO = 3/10 add together TPO is now 20 then add the top parts so the answer is 4/20 =1/5 =20%

P(red then spots )

Red FO/TPO = 3/10

Spots FO/TPO =3/10 add together =3/ 20 = 3/10 = 30%

P( strips then blue)

Strips FO/TPO = 3/10

Blue FO/TPO = 1/10 add together 4/20 = 1/5 =0.2 = 20%

p(blue or red then spotted)

Red and blue FO/TPO 4/10

Spotted FO/TPO 3/10 add together 7/20=0.35 =35%

Here is Number Seven from the textbook

A. Bart FO/TPO = 1/6

Bethany Fo/TPO = 1/6 add together 2/12 =0.16 =16.6%

B. Bart FO/TPO = 1/6

Bethany FO/TPO = 1/6 add together 2/16 = 0.16 16.6%

C.Bart FO/TPO =5/6

bethany Fo/TPO= 3/6 add together 8/12 = 0.66 =66.6%

D. Bart FO/TPO = 3/6

Bethany FO/TPO =3/6 add together 6/12 = 0.5 = 50%

E. Bart FO/TPO = 3/6

Bethany FO/TPO = 3/6 add together 6/12 = 0.5 =50%
