### Scribe Post for October 22, 2008

Today in class we were given page 43 and 44 in the yellow booklet to do today. Mr.Harbeck gave us 10 minutes to work cause he is very nice. WARNING: On #8 balloon is spelt baloon .

The questions i was given to do on my scribe was 6 - 10 on page 44 for F.

Translate all the questions into an expression involving integers and find the integers that represents the overall change.

This is how to do #6

Step #1 Read the question :

A certain stock starts at 319 points, gains 55 points, drops 45 points, and drops 28 points.

Step #2: Write down all the integers you see, then answer using brackets, plus signs etc ..

#7

An elevator starts on the 9th floor, descends 5 floors and ascends 9 floors.

#8

A helium filled balloon is released, gains 53 m , drops 32 m, gains 47 m, and drops 38 m.

Now that i showed you how to do 3 you should now know how to do the rest. All of this is due tommaorw.

Here is a video on integers.

I choose Brenden.M to do tomorrows post.
